Q:

I forgot my account password. What can I do?

A:

You can retrieve your account password by visiting our Forgot Password page.

hp

Step 1: You need to type your Login and press 'Submit' button. Please note that your Login is an email address of your Account Contact. In case you haven't created an Account Contact yet, you can use your account name as Login

Step 2: Since each account contact has up to 3 security questions, the random one will be listed. If the answer to the security question is incorrect, you will be asked a random security question again. If the user doesn’t answer the question correctly 3 times, then the Account Contact will be locked out. The Account Owner or Contact Manager will be able to unlock the contact.

If the user answers the question correctly, a new password will be generated and sent to the account contact email address. Also, an email will be generated to the Account Owner indicating that the user generated a new password.

To unlock account contact, Account Owner or Contact Manager should login to HostPilot, navigate to Account > Account Contacts menu, then hit the name of the locked contact and hit Unlock button.
