This article describes the process of moving user data, like emails, from a POP/IMAP mailbox to an Exchange mailbox and also moving user data from an Exchange maibox to a POP/IMAP mailbox within one organization.

Important: All of your users, both Exchange and POP/IMAP type, are assigned an x500 Exchange address by design which is used for internal delivery by Exchange servers. User's x500 address is associated with an Active Directory object, not an email address. When you delete a user their x500 address is deleted with the AD object. However, x500 addresses can remain associated with email addresses in your Outlook and Webmail cache. If you receive a non-delivery report after the conversion use the following solutions:
